Stephan Althoff joined Deutsche Telekom in 1993 and has since held various management positions. He is currently responsible for the Group's communication about innovation and Germany, as well as Group sponsorship and Group events. Born in Bielefeld, he graduated in business administration from the universities of Mannheim and Munich. He then completed a traineeship at Münchner Merkur and moved to the daily newspaper "Die Welt" in Bonn. Althoff is married and has three children. He is chairman of the board of the Sponsors' Association S20 e.V.
