Interview

With the interview part of our process, we want to get to know you better and find out if we’re a good match. For us, this is a discussion in which we are all on an equal footing and is not a test. We’ll be focusing on your personal strengths and prospects for development. We are particularly interested in your ability to pick up knowledge and skills independently.  

Duration: up to 1.5 hours 

Format: virtual interview with two recruiter 

Things that might come up: 

• Conversation about your strengths, your development so far, and your problem-solving skills.
• Substantive questions and discussions
• Case Study 

Tips to prepare yourself: 

• Have a look at key figures and business management methods
• Practice case studies related to consulting
• Find out about Deutsche Telekom and the latest market developments               

Appraisal

We dedicate several hours to you for this. Our aim: we test your analytical abilities as well as your professional and social skills with a typical customer project, simulating classic consulting scenarios as part of a role play. Another exciting aspect: this is when you get to meet your future manager. 

Duration: 4.5 hours

Format: Individual interview, two partners, external HR consultant 

Things that might come up: 

• Substantive questions and discussions
• Role plays
• Case study and presentation

• Take a close look at Deutsche Telekom’s strategy
• Practice case studies related to consulting
• Find out about methods for discussions and interviews

Interview

The interview gives us the opportunity to get to know one other. You can gain an impression of our team and your potential working environment. We also have the chance to get to meet you in person. One key element of the interview is a short self-introduction, which you can use to showcase your experience, motivation, communication skills, and energy.

Duration: 60 to 90 minutes

Format: Individual interview, one recruiter

Things that might come up: 

• Self-introduction
• Substantive questions and discussions 
• Case study

What happens next?

We provide you with comprehensive feedback within 36 hours of the interview. In the meantime, we can both consider whether we’re a good fit – for us and for you too. If it works for both sides, we would be delighted to welcome you to Telekom Strategy Consulting on your agreed start date.
