The finalists of the Digital Female Leader Award (DFLA), hosted by GDW Global Digital Women GmbH, have been announced! Telekom's women were once again able to impress this year with two nominees making it to the finalists in their category. We would like to introduce these women, as we at Telekom support women in advancing their careers and would like to make their successes visible to the outside world. We are keeping our fingers crossed for them and are looking forward to announcing the winners at the “JourneyToDiversity” tour from November, 8th to 25th, 2021!
These are our finalists:
Elena Maria Ordóñez del Campo - nominated in the category "Career"
The native from Spain came to Germany at the age of 22. During her almost 25 years at SAP, Elena was responsible for the SAP Human Capital Management solution. In 2012, she moved to T-Systems, where she is responsible for SAP business worldwide with a team of around 4,000 employees. The focus is on SAP end-to-end services for our customers - from hosting services to digitization. Digital innovation and transformation are two of the strategic portfolio areas that enable our customers to use new technologies to optimize business processes or implement new business models.
But Elena is also a finalist in the category "Career" because she can look back on other impressive milestones. The proud mother of a now twenty-year-old son has won several awards, including one in 2003 as one of the world's most influential women in human capital management. In 2015, she was among the finalists of the "Top 100" most influential women in Spain. Two years later, she was named one of the four most influential female students in the 40-year history of her university in Bilbao. She then founded with seven other brilliant women "Next Exit Future" - a company that helps women create startups. Elena is a passionate woman who believes that everyone can make a difference.
Her personal motto is: “long life learning - Particularly in our IT industry, there is always an opportunity to learn something new and grow as an individual, independently of your age or position. ”
Anna Reddig - nominated in the category "Audience Award"
Our second power woman enters the finals for the highly coveted "Audience Award". Just being among the three finalists is a great honor from the audience. Anna and her team are orchestrating the digital transformation of the field service in numerous projects to turn our technicians into heroes and our customers into fans. Thanks to her efforts, we are making the transition to a team with modern devices and digital apps that are already enabling better service for our customers.
Anna shapes new topics with vision. She supports the introduction of Big Data analyses, the field service in its quality improvement, service delivery and further development. An important aspect for her is to build up an autonomous team of technicians of the future that can proactively solve the customer's problems with the best possible support. If the technician is unable to solve the problem on his own, it will be possible in the future to request help via video and augmented reality using remote support, so that no problem is too difficult and every customer concern can be solved directly.
Anna’s leadership credo: "For me, leadership means enhancing strengths, building self-confidence in our own expertise, and promoting the will to learn in order to courageously break new ground and face emerging challenges."
“JourneyToDiversity” - the road tour enters its second round
The 18-day “Journey to Diversity” tour will take place again this year. In the process, GDW is touring all over Germany to personally surprise women and present them with their Digital Female Leader Award. We are very excited about the winners and are especially looking forward to the announcement of our category "Digital Leadership" on November, 15th.
