On 2.5 million square meters, Digital X offers a variety of showcases.

The robot "Butty" from the company Capra Robotics autonomously cleans up cigarette butts in Cologne thanks to artificial intelligence.

The flags are raised – the city center of Cologne expects around 50,000 visitors over the two exhibition days.

In his speech, Tim Höttges conveys a can-do attitude and a sense of new beginnings. Each of us can be the change, he says.

NAO is an autonomous, humanoid robot by Aldebaran Robotics. It became well-known for its robotic dances on platforms like TikTok. 
 

"We have a mood in Germany that demands we engage with future topics. The spirit of DIGITAL X is a positive, affirmative one," said Hendrik Wüst, Minister-President of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
