T-Systems is presenting its cloudifier program for the first time at this year's CeBIT. With this service, Deutsche Telekom's subsidiary transforms and migrates customer applications to the cloud at fixed prices. The service package includes consulting, the transformation itself and operation in German data centers. It is available for SAP solutions, Microsoft applications and other non-SAP applications. The price is based on the scope and complexity of the application to be transformed.

"The cloud is the foundation for digitization: An ever-growing number of sensors is sending data through the networks. Only the cloud can collect, store and process this data. But many companies are hesitant to move their IT to the cloud. They fear complexity, costs and risks," says Dr. Ferri Abolhassan, Director of T-Systems responsible for the IT Division and Telekom Security. "And that's exactly the pain points we're tackling. With us, the transformation to the cloud becomes fast, easy and affordable – and with maximum quality and security. As the "cloudifier," we build cloud architectures from A to Z. Our "trick" is using standardized applications instead of proprietary solutions, automation instead of subprocesses. As a result, our customers benefit from a service that is optimized across all technical levels, provided from a single source."

The end-to-end packages from T-Systems include the analysis of potential, expert advice on the optimal target cloud architecture, the digital transformation itself and ongoing cloud operations. With an extensive technical analysis of the system landscape, T-Systems first takes inventory of all customer applications and assesses them according to age, interfaces, interaction with other applications and development environments. Based on this information, the customer decides which of the existing applications will be consolidated – migrated, modernized or replaced. T-Systems can also adopt existing cloud environments and streamline overall cloud operations subsequently. The ideal scope of services is identified for each customer, based on the number and complexity of the applications to be transformed. Customers are quoted a fixed price for each application transformation, together with exact information about scope, time frame and results.
