The Nuance Group relies worldwide on Dynamic Services for SAP from T-Systems

The Nuance Group AG, Glattbrugg, has chosen Dynamic Services for SAP from T-Systems. The Nuance Group is a retail company operating on four continents. At this stage, it is using SAP basic services and storage services from T-Systems. The airport shop operator serves an extremely dynamic market that often demands very rapid adjustments to SAP capacities. “It would make no sense for us to build or even manage the necessary capacities ourselves. That’s not our core business,” says Francesco Cammarano, Executive Vice President IT & Logistics for The Nuance Group. "T-Systems provides us with the resources on a flexible basis and in the shortest possible time, and we pay only for what we actually use." All SAP services supplied to Nuance by T-Systems run in the Swiss computer centres at Zollikofen and Langenthal. Redundancy ensures the fail-safe operation that is essential for business. After all, the T-Systems computer centres are accessed by around 400 shops at 60 airports worldwide – in different time zones. 24-hour operation 365 days a year is therefore a central requirement. T-Systems Switzerland already supplies Dynamic Services for SAP to other renowned customers in the travel and tourism sector, such as Kuoni, Jet Aviation and Dnata.
