Deutsche Telekom is now launching its Business Marketplace: With immediate effect, small and medium-sized enterprises can order innovative and secure software solutions for standard business applications from the cloud. The new cloud platform means small enterprises will be able to afford highly professional solutions without the need for hardware or software investment, as the services they order will all be billed on a per-usage basis. This allows them to fully concentrate on their core business instead of their IT. The secure and efficient solutions are ordered with just a few mouse clicks, and the single sign-on option makes them easy to use. Deutsche Telekom is the single source of contact for the customer, from ordering to support and billing. Partner solutions can now be tested free of charge Today’s launch of the Business Marketplace marks the beginning of its consistently growing online SMB service portfolio. As an introductory offer Deutsche Telekom invites all companies to test the first partner solutions, free of charge and without obligation, until September 30, 2012. These solutions are the iMeet videoconferencing solution from PGI, the various customer data and finance management applications from Scopeviso and HiDrive online storage from Strato. New partners adding to the range of services Two further agreements have been concluded with eZ Systems and Provantis. These partner solutions add to the range of Business Marketplace services the categories of content management and project management systems and will also be available in the near future. The German SME software company Provantis IT Solutions GmbH offers time recording for projects with its ZEP solution. It allows companies to record working times and enables project controlling, regardless of the industry concerned. This software benefits service companies, enabling them to cut back on administrative processes, and therefore save time and money, with the realization of customer projects. Together with its new partner eZ Systems, the Business Marketplace offers customers a favorably priced high-performance solution for content management systems (CMS). The eZ Publish International software solution is aimed at international small and medium-sized enterprises for whom their website is of particular relevance to their business. The product includes a range of language versions as well as particularly comprehensive multi-channel functions and the ability to adjust the website for mobile devices. ClearPath, the security solution from the cloud, will soon also be available to customers on the Business Marketplace. Clearpath's Secure Private Network solution gives small and medium-sized enterprises affordable, reliable protection against viruses and attacks from the Net, without the need for them to operate a firewall or complex IT systems themselves. Top cloud solutions The following software applications can be tested free of charge and without obligation until September 30, 2012: Strato HiDrive - innovative and secure cloud-based online storage: As a cloud-based service, Strato HiDrive offers a comprehensive feature set enabling SMEs to access data via various devices, independent of their own location as well as to scale the solutions flexibly whenever the need arises. Three packages with differing amounts of storage space are on offer from the start: HiDrive Pro 100 with 100 GB of storage, HiDrive Pro 1000 with 1,000 GB of storage and HiDrive Pro 2500 with 2,500 GB of storage. ScopeVisio - use cloud-based software for sales, order processing and finance. The package includes sales software that supports all main sales and distribution processes at a company - from contact management to offer, order and delivery track creation and even invoicing. Software for financial accounting is also available, including functions such as asset accounting, cash journal and an analysis tool. iMeet : professional, cloud-based video conferences. iMeet provides business customers with an innovative online conference room. It is essentially a virtual, cloud-based office with social network support. No software is needed on the PC to run iMeet - the application simply runs on the computer's Internet browser. A few clicks are all it takes to launch conference calls or video conferences with up to 15 persons worldwide. Participants can jointly view and share the documents and safely store them in the cloud, as if they were sharing an office. The platform on which the Business Marketplace is based was developed by the software developer AppDirect. Companies can access the Business Marketplace at www.telekom.de/cloud/businessmarketplace
