Secure cloud solutions "to go" for corporate customers

  • Cloud marketplace provides corporate customers with quick booking and easy payment of business apps from the Telekom cloud
  • Register and use in real time
  • Customers can try out partner solutions free of charge for 30 days

Greater flexibility for large companies: In the new Business Marketplace for Enterprise, companies can now book business solutions from various software providers from the highly secure Telekom cloud with just a few clicks and immediately begin using them. Prior registration or lengthy ordering times are not required. Companies interested in trying out a solution can test it free of charge for 30 days, then lease it as needed and pay conveniently online by direct debit, PayPal, ClickandBuy or credit card.

Booked applications can be easily managed via the central portal. Large corporations can noticeably reduce their IT and IT administration costs. The principle and technology for the portal are based on the Business Marketplace, the security certified cloud portal for small and medium-sized enterprises launched in 2012. "Small and medium-sized enterprises in Germany have already responded well to the option of leasing software in our Business Marketplace instead of buying it. Making the platform's benefits and ease of use accessible for corporate customers was the obvious next step," says Frank Strecker, responsible for cloud business at T-Systems. A personal contact and technical support is still available for each customer on the new platform.

The Business Marketplace for Enterprise currently offers corporate customers seven customized software-as-a-service products.

The Telekom cloud – versatile, easy, secure
Since 2005, Deutsche Telekom and its subsidiary T-Systems have offered secure end-to-end cloud solutions for companies of all sizes - from consulting to implementation, billing and customer service through to maintenance. Telekom's growing partner ecosystem includes solutions from SAP, Microsoft, Cisco, Salesforce, VMWare, Oracle, SugarCRM and Informatica, and others. In addition to the classic network and IT infrastructure options, Telekom offers three cloud portals for all needs: Using the two public app stores Business Marketplace and Business Marketplace for Enterprise, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and corporate customers have access to a number of certified business applications from the Telekom cloud which they can test online, order and immediately use. The Cloud Integration Center gives corporate customers the ability to manage their entire IT landscape from the highly secure Private Cloud: Both individual IT components and booked applications and services can be centrally managed and administered via the portal. On all three platforms, customers only pay for what they actually use.

T-Systems just won one of the largest cloud contracts in Group history in December. The Telekom subsidiary will migrate around 80,000 computer workstations and 10,000 sever systems of ThyssenKrupp AG in 34 countries to the cloud.
