Entertain, Deutsche Telekom’s TV service, has become the number one for high-definition television in Germany, offering more than 100 HD channels. High definition is the new benchmark and is now part and parcel of the standard package: Entertain now features 47 HD channels at the promotional price of 39.95 euros per month. The other add-on TV packages in the lineup already include all the available HD channels. Customers no longer need to add on the HD option.
Deutsche Telekom has made Entertain even more compelling with the new starter product. New customers can enjoy the Entertain Premium package for the price of the Entertain Comfort package for the first 24 months – providing them with another 25 channels in high definition. Entertain now showcases 47 HD channels altogether, with the lineup including public channels such as Das Erste HD, ZDF HD and arte HD, private channels such as ProSieben HD, Sport1 HD and RTL HD, and special-interest channels including Disney Channel HD, MTV HD and ServusTV HD.
The flexible add-on TV packages provide an even wider selection of channels. For 6.95 euros per month, the genre packages – such as Movies, Kids or Sport – also include all the available HD channels. High definition also forms an integral part of Big TV for 19.95 euros per month. The HD option, which previously had to be added on for 4.95 euros per month, is no longer available and has been phased out.
