CeBIT 2015: T-Systems makes it easier for companies to become real-time enterprises with SAP HANA

  • T-Systems offers SAP HANA from the private cloud
  • Becoming a real-time enterprise with "T-Systems Jump-Start on SAP HANA"
  • Exclusive for CeBIT: free start-up packages for in-memory computing

At CeBIT, T-Systems is presenting the start-up package "T-Systems Jump-Start on SAP HANA" for the first time. This package contains everything needed to jump start in-memory computing, from a consultation on the real-time enterprise, through to proof of feasibility based on the available data and SAP environment. At the trade fair, T-Systems is exclusively offering up to 20 jump start packages worth tens of thousands of euros free-of-charge. Interested companies can apply at Deutsche Telekom's stand.

By processing large volumes of data in real time, companies open themselves up to new possibilities for innovative business models. According to Pierre Audoin Consultants (PAC), around a quarter of all German companies will invest in SAP Business Suite powered by SAP HANA in the next three years. The greatest obstacle, however, is the high additional investments in hardware and know-how that are needed to get started and for viable operation. That is why T-Systems has designed its Jump Start Package as a cloud solution, using dynamically available IT resources with no start-up costs.

"Our experience from many SAP HANA projects in the last few years has shown again and again that our customers recognize the benefits of SAP HANA for their business, but often find the initial investments to be an obstacle. The package from the private cloud resolves precisely this dilemma. It provides a quick and simple demonstration of new ways of becoming a real-time enterprise," explained Dr. Ferri Abolhassan, Managing Director of T-Systems. "At T-Systems, customers also benefit from our many years of expertise in providing integrated services. It has been ten years since we put the first SAP from the cloud into operation; we now operate the world's biggest cloud platform for SAP," added Abolhassan.

To apply for a Jump Start Package from T-Systems, business enterprises must already be users of SAP solutions. T-Systems reserves the right to select, prioritize and allocate the requests received for the trial offer. Enterprises must apply for the packages during CeBIT 2015 at the T-Systems Dynamic Services for SAP HANA exhibit at the Deutsche Telekom stand. Participants will be informed by e-mail or phone. T-Systems' decision is final.

Experience our products and services live at CeBIT from March 16-20 at Deutsche Telekom's stand C26 in hall 4.

Deutsche Telekom's entire presence at the trade fair is carbon-neutral: All CO2 emissions generated in setting up and operating the stand are offset fully by carbon-reduction projects abroad.
