Starting today, February 15, any Romtelecom customer with access to internet can pay its invoices in a simply and rapid way, using the company’s ePayment application.
This facility is available free of charge to any Romtelecom residential customer with an account in the MyAccount application, available on the company’s website. The payment, which is commission free, can be made using a credit or debit card. In order to provide this service, Romtelecom joined forces with another market leader, GECAD ePayment.

With this particular new service, we will ease the life of many of our customers who prefer online payment in just a couple of minutes with the confidence of the trusted brand of Romtelecom,,” stated Joerg Zeddies, chief commercial officer, residential segment.

A My Account account can be created in a couple of minutes, for this being necessary the subscriber’s code and a valid e-mail address. After the login, My Account offers other facilities beside the online payment such as: the free of charge visualisation of the last 6 invoices, the detailed list of the calls, the status of payments and of the traffic registered for Clicknet mobile, in case the customer benefits of this service too.
Until March 15, 2010 all the residential customers with an active account My Account which benefit of at least one subscription to one of the basic services offered by Romtelecom (fixed telephony, internet, digital television) will automatically participate to a tombola where will be offered as prizes 20 TV sets LCD Samsung 26R81.
The online payment adds to the other payment means which Romtelecom already offers, as the company has different partners resulting in over 21 000 points of presence (representing banks front-desks, ATMs, authorised offices of Romanian Post, UNIKASA service, SIMPLIS FACTURI service, PayPoint cashing points, Germanos stores, Romtelecom stores).
