TelekomCloud - experience a totally new dimension The completely revamped TelekomCloud for consumers offers even more functions, and users will soon have the option of adding on up to 100 GB of storage capacity in the cloud. Further functionalities such as the digitization of content, video processing and simplified scheduling are also available. What is more, core services like e-mail and the Media Center have been trimmed down and made simpler in the new TelekomCloud. With its intuitive user guidance, the new design enables users to utilize cloud services faster and more easily no matter what type of device they are using. Add on more storage capacity Under the new name of Mail & Cloud, Telekom's Internet and Entertain customers will be able to put together a package to suit their needs as from September: The basic product Mail & Cloud S provides free access to the TelekomCloud coupled with the following advantages:
- 1 GB storage capacity for thousands of e-mails
- Reliable protection against spam and viruses (basic)
- Smartphone-Sync for synchronizing e-mails, contacts and appointments on tablets and smartphones
- 25 GB storage capacity for photos, videos, music and more in the Media Center
- Practical Media Center Assistant makes uploading data child's play.
More demanding customers can add on more capacity: Option 1: Mail & Cloud M for EUR 4.95/month offering the following additional benefits:
- 15 GB storage space for tens of thousands of e-mails
- Enhanced security thanks to Spam Protection Plus (SpamschutzPlus)
- Advertising-free E-Mail Center and
- Upgrade to 50 GB storage space for photos, videos, and music in the Media Center.
Option 2: Mail & Cloud L for EUR 9.95/month with an additional upgrade to 100 GB storage space in the Media Center. The existing Freemail offer remains in place. New partners make TelekomCloud even more versatile Telekom is expanding its cloud offering to include new partners: The MAGIX Video deluxe video software package makes it possible to store personal videos to the TelekomCloud directly from the respective program with the help of the Media Center. In future, E-Mail Center users will be able to link up their online calendars with Doodle and thus have an overview of their appointments when scheduling meetings in Doodle. Sophisticated cloud services on all devices Telekom's cloud services have been totally revamped on all devices. For selected users, a beta version of the new E-Mail Center will go live on the web in early September, and all users will be able to take advantage of the new user interface as from December. The interface impresses with its ease of operation, its focus on essential functions as well as much shorter load times. Currently, all customers are able to test the new-look Media Center online and pass on their criticisms and suggestions for improvement to the team of developers. The new design emulates a traditional folder structure, making it much clearer as well as more intuitive to handle. The optimized Media Center app (for iOS and Android smartphones and tablets) enables users on the go to upload, view and share files simply, quickly and intuitively. As from mid-September, a new Media Center Assistant will be available for PCs that will make it possible to synchronize files stored on a computer with the TelekomCloud. Users do not have to be online to take advantage of this function: as soon as an Internet connection is established, the synchronization begins running automatically. Experience our products and services live at IFA in Berlin from August 31 to September 5 at the Deutsche Telekom stand in hall 6.2.
