More Speed for Innovation with PLM Cloud

  • T-Systems shows Product Lifecycle Management at Hannover Messe
  • Unrivalled diversity of PLM systems from the cloud
  • Flexible use in a secure data center

Among the exhibits on show at Hannover Messe is the comprehensive PLM Cloud from T-Systems, which went live at the start of the year. The solution for cloud-based Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) combines a unique variety of PLM systems with an end-to-end process, support for users and the data security that comes from using a German data center.

Companies can use the PLM Cloud to transform what is probably their most important process, i.e., the development of new products from initial design through to test simulation, bring that process into the digital age, and thus accelerate their approach to innovation. The PLM Cloud offers businesses the option of using their own software licenses or the software of tried-and-tested PLM specialists from the cloud (Software as a Service), which T-Systems has already integrated into the platform. That means customers don’t have to tie themselves down to one vendor, and can instead opt for the solution that best fits their processes. T-Systems is enhancing every aspect of the service with the process expertise of its specialists and the flexible provision of computing power. What’s more, its state-of-the-art data centers offer maximum security for the processing of sensitive data.

T-Systems supports digitalization

The PLM cloud consists of three modules:

  1. The actual PLM system
  2. Virtual 3D design for CAD and CAE
  3. Flexible high-performance computing resources for simulations

Integrating these modules into the cloud means they are always available to users in the latest version, they can be used when required, and users only have to pay for their actual usage. Moreover, the system can be rapidly adapted to new requirements. Thanks to their integration expertise and experience, T-Systems experts can support companies as they migrate their systems and processes to the cloud.
