Live and exclusive on MagentaTV – Axel Springer Mediahouse Berlin and Deutsche Telekom to cooperate for the live broadcast of the INTERNATIONAL MUSIC AWARD presented by ROLLING STONE GERMANY (IMA). The new pop culture award for the digital generation takes place in the Verti Music Hall in Berlin on November 22, 2019 at 8 p.m. Telekom shows the award show live and exclusive on MagentaTV on channel 131. Furthermore, Music fans in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland will be able to experience the show on a free live stream on magentatv.de, meaning that everybody will be able to #TAKEPART and share this experience with others.

Udo Lindenberg and Sting

The highlights of the first INTERNATIONAL MUSIC AWARD will be the performances of Udo Lindenberg und Sting. In addition, Max Herre and Joy Denalane, the Canadian singer Peaches, Anna Calvi, Holly Herndon, the South Korean K-Pop group The Rose, and other top stars will also appear on stage. Sting will be honored in the “Hero” category for his lifetime work. As best live act, Rammstein will receive the audience award in the “Performance” category. The award show will be hosted by Emmy winner Billy Porter and supermodel Toni Garrn.

TV offers redefined

Artists including Billy Eilish, James Blake, Sade, Florence + the Machine, Anna Calvi, and Holly Herndon have also been nominated in the eight categories „Sound“, „Beginner“, „Future“, „Commitment“, „Visuals“, „Style“, „Performance“ und „Hero“. Tickets are now available from 29 Euros at all known advance booking offices and on Eventim.de.
