Changes to the reporting structure

The presentation of the financial figures will reflect two important changes for the first time in the second quarter of 2010.

  • As of April 1, 2010, T-Mobile UK has been absorbed into the Everything Everywhere joint venture with Orange UK and, as a result, has been deconsolidated at Deutsche Telekom.
  • The Europe and Southern and Eastern Europe (SEE) operating segments have been merged.

The Deutsche Telekom organizational structure has oriented itself according to the management structure realignment of the Europe and SEE operating segments since April 1, 2010. The realignment was passed by the Supervisory Board on February 24, 2010.

The operating segments were combined on April 1, 2010 to form the Europe operating segment. It comprises all fixed-line and mobile business activities of the national companies in Greece, Romania, Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic, Croatia, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Austria, Bulgaria, Albania, the FYRO Macedonia, Montenegro and the International Carrier Sales and Services area.

Deutsche Telekom has therefore reported according to its four operating segments: Germany, Europe, USA, Systems Solutions as well as Group Headquarters & Shared Services since April 1, 2010.
