Supervisory Board of Deutsche Telekom AG appoints René Obermann as new CEO

Ad hoc notification of Deutsche Telekom AG according to § 15 WpHG

At a meeting today the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Telekom has decided to appoint René Obermann as the new Chief Executive Officer with effect from November 13, 2006. The 43-year old will succeed Kai-Uwe Ricke.
