With heart, mind and commitment for a better world

Activism and practical actions for climate protection, gender equality, international understanding or waste prevention: the finalists of the SDG Action Awards have found different ways to work for a better world in their environment. They will be honored at a festive awards ceremony on September 27th 2022.

The red-carpet event will be broadcast live from Telekom headquarters.

The "SDG" in the event name refers to the Sustainable Development Goals. 17 Sustainable Development Goals to which the member states of the United Nations have committed themselves. Deutsche Telekom has supported the Sustainable Development Goals since the United Nations adopted them in 2015. Along our value chain, we make concrete contributions every year: for example, by actively promoting climate protection (SDG 13), reducing our emissions and achieving climate neutrality in our own operations by 2025 and across the entire value chain by 2040. As a shaper of digitalization, we continue to contribute to SDG 4 (Quality Education), for example through our TeachToday initiatives, and advocate for peaceful, inclusive societies through our #TAKEPART - #NoHate Speech campaign.
