The LGBTQIA+ Diversity Performance Index by the UHLALA Group has existed since 2021 and evaluates the diversity management of large as well as small and medium-sized enterprises. The auditing process comprises 75 questions across four categories and provides an assessment of current engagement as well as areas for improvement.
In the Gender Diversity Index of the Boston Consulting Group, Telekom achieved 13th place, ranking among the TOP 20 companies in Germany.
To determine the status quo of gender diversity in top management in Germany, the Boston Consulting Group and the Technical University of Munich have designed an index that examines the 100 largest publicly traded German companies by market capitalization. The basis of the investigation is the proportion of men and women on the management and supervisory boards of each company as of the reporting date, as well as the distribution of compensation in these two bodies as disclosed in the latest complete annual report. These four factors each contribute one-quarter to the overall rating. Since 2017, TUM and BCG have published the annual study based on the same methodology.
The Financial Times has released its sixth annual list of "Europe's Diversity Leaders," with Telekom ranking 17th out of 850 companies in Europe and 3rd in Germany.
The Financial Times Diversity Leaders list is a prestigious recognition of companies excelling in diversity and inclusion efforts. This ranking includes both publicly listed and private companies across 16 European countries. It evaluates diversity within the workforce based on five aspects: gender balance, sexual orientation, age, ethnicity, and disability. Out of the 15,000 companies surveyed, 850 were recognized as Diversity Leaders.
Telekom was awarded 4 out of 5 stars in the Brigitte Modern Work Study.
The BRIGITTE Modern Work Study annually examines and evaluates German companies that stand out for particularly modern and flexible working conditions. The 2024 study highlights companies that not only rethink traditional work models but also actively contribute to shaping a new work culture. Factors such as work-life balance, promotion of women, flexibility, and innovative workplace solutions are taken into account.

Another award for Telekom! After recently being named one of the top 10 Diversity Leaders by the Financial Times, Birgit Bohle has now been chosen as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of the Year by the Beyond Gender Agenda. This recognition once again highlights Deutsche Telekom's achievements in promoting diversity and inclusion. "When it comes to diversity, my primary concern is that everyone feels welcome and accepted for who they are. Only then can everyone reach their full potential for our company. This is something I am passionate about. But it is also something we have to work on every day," says Birgit Bohle, Board Member for Human Resources and Legal Affairs.

BeyondGenderAgenda, under the scientific direction of Prof. Dr. Susanne Schmidt, Chair of International Management at the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg, has published the German Diversity Index 2023 for the third time. The ranking, which was established in 2021, evaluates the commitment of DAX 40 companies to diversity. For the German Diversity Index 2023, the publicly available business, sustainability, diversity and HR reports of the companies were evaluated.
Birgit Bohle is one of the Top 100 Women for Diversity in Germany 2023. With this campaign, BeyondGenderAgenda honors 100 women who are committed to diversity and equal opportunities and who open doors for other women. BeyondGenderAgenda founder Victoria Wagner introduced the ceremony by pointing out the diversity within the 100 women, calling them role models, and citing values like justice and fairness as key motivators to advocate for diversity, equality and inclusion.
Deutsche Telekom is one of 484 companies that have been selected for the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI) 2023. This benchmark index measures gender equality across five pillars: leadership and talent development, pay equity and gender pay gap, inclusive culture, sexual harassment policies and brand image. Deutsche Telekom is once again one of the top employers for women. We are delighted to have received five out of a possible five stars and are thus one of only five large companies with more than 10,000 employees that have achieved the highest rating. The ranking by Brigitte magazine is based on criteria such as work-life balance, career development, transparency and equal opportunities.The composition of the management team is also taken into account.
Telekom is one of the top 10 employers in terms of diversity. This is according to a ranking of 250 companies from a wide range of industries published by Stern magazine in collaboration with the market research experts from Statista. Among IT and telecommunications service providers, Deutsche Telekom is ranked number 2. More than 45,000 employees participated in the survey. They were asked about several dimensions. In addition to gender and ethnicity, the survey also covered age, physical disability and sexual orientation.

Deutsche Telekom is one of 418 companies from 45 countries and regions included in the Bloomberg Gender Equality Index (GEI) 2022.
