Insurance tech startup Spearhead from Zürich has developed a vehicle claims management solution as a white label product for insurance companies.
This innovation digitalizes the claims process completely for the first time – from accident notification and damage documentation to damage assessment and repair order placement. The service is another component of the "Digital Drive" connected car offering from T-Systems.
What the partners bring to the table
The retrofit solution connects new and used vehicles that do not have integrated Internet access. T-Systems manages the OBD2 adapter, the Connected Car services, the platform, and a highly scalable cloud infrastructure that meets the highest demands for data privacy and data protection. Spearhead delivers the claims analysis software, the portal for vehicle insurers and expert organizations, and the damage documentation feature for vehicle owners.
Deutsche Telekom has taken a stake in Spearhead to deepen the partnership, with the aim of revolutionizing claims management for vehicle insurance companies together.
