The remuneration depends on the current minimum wage and the weekly working hours. With the minimum wage calculator you can calculate your monthly salary based on the working hours stated in the job advertisement (34, 36, 38 or 40 hours).

only voluntary internships

The remuneration depends on the current minimum wage and the weekly working hours. With the minimum wage calculator you can calculate your monthly salary based on the corresponding monthly hourly quota (min. 55 hours/month to max. 130 hours/month).

Types of internships

Your studies are rounded off with a practical phase in a company. 

  • The mandatory internship, which takes place during your studies, lasts for a minimum of four weeks at Deutsche Telekom and a maximum of the period as stipulated in your study course regulations. 
  • You can complete a voluntary internship at any stage of your studies. The length of time is up to you. Everything’s possible from four weeks to six months.
  • If you want to complete an internship while your lectures are taking place, we recommend our flexiship – Deutsche Telekom’s flexible internship.
  • Graduates on their gap year who want to gain valuable work experience in advance of their Master’s study program can take advantage of voluntary internships ranging from four weeks to six months in duration. These can also be offered as flexiships.

Onboarding

You’re in good hands with us and that’s even before your first day at work.

#PREBOARDING: You are given access to our onboarding app as soon as you receive your internship contract and you can use it to find out about Deutsche Telekom before starting your internship and get valuable tips on how to get started. As a result, you’ll be more relaxed on your first day at work. 

#ONBOARDING: From your first day at work, the app provides insights into our systems and tools, suggests networking events, and puts you in touch with other interns in via a WebEx group. 

#TAKEOFF: Once you have settled into the world of Deutsche Telekom, we will concentrate on your personal development. The app gives you access to our YouLearn formats and allows you to continue your further training anytime, anywhere.
