Our awards

The "Female Recruiting Award" is presented annually at the women&work career fair and honours companies which, in the opinion of the fair visitors, have managed best in appealing to women and presenting themselves as attractive employers. The survey of career fair visitors thus gives us a direct impression of the mood of the visitors.

Deutsche Telekom is one of the most popular companies among German LinkedIn members and achieves 5th place in the Linkedin Top Companies in 2019. Companies with a high level of interest among Linkedin members who exchange information intensively with the members and have advertised attractive jobs are listed here accordingly.

In trendence's current market research study, in which more than 20,000 pupils were surveyed throughout Germany, Telekom was named as one of the most attractive employers in Germany. We can be proud of this. The 1,300 new apprentices and dual students who have chosen their career path with us in 2018 can expect high-quality training and excellent prospects for the future.

At the Employer Branding Awards 2018, which are sponsored by the market research institute trendence, we were honored for our excellent approach to the target group of students. Decisive for the award is the adequate orientation of our employer branding and the use of the right communication channels with the right messages to the target group, e.g. our challenge-platform or our Open Work Space „CMD+O“ (German) .

Online channels are essential for recruitment communication for recruitment success and presentation as an attractive employer. That's why we're delighted that we could once again defend 2nd place in this year's Online Talent Communication study by Potentialpark. In the individual categories career website and social media, we were even able to place all competitors behind us.

The visitors of the career fair Woman & Work were convinced: With our attractive booth, excellent advice on career topics by our recruiter and with magenta-colored cotton candy, we again presented ourselves as an attractive employer this year.

Booth 4.0 - with video conference we are very close to the visitors of career fairs since this year. Even without a classic booth! With our robot "Roberta" we can go directly to the visitors at the exhibition center and talk to them.

 With the website "Find Your Team" (German) we are breaking new ground between classic career website and job search. Future colleagues and teams introduce themselves. So every candidate has the opportunity to immerse themselves deeply and get to know the actual variety of working methods, topics and tasks as well as people.

Digitization is steadily finding its way into our areas of life. Also in communication with our young target group of pupils. With this award, the jury honored the transformation of our 40-page print magazine into a modern poster magazine with full social media support via Instagram, Snapchat, Whatsapp and Facebook. So we can inform both pupils, teachers and also parents with one social magazine about the career possibilities in the Telekom group.

The visitors at Europe’s greatest career fair for women, women&work, honored Deutsche Telekom once more with the first place for its  fair presentation and for being the most attractive employer for women.

With the initiative "DT supports refugees", Deutsche Telekom is awarded with the Employer Branding Award 2016 - including job portal careers4refugees to train-the-trainer concept for application training, internships and vocational training.

The job portal for refugees “career4refugees” receives the Queb-Special-Award. The professional association Queb – Quality Employer Branding honored the
acknowledge outstanding activities relating to employer branding, personnel marketing and recruiting of Telekom.
