Your Tasks
What you will be doing:
As part of the Innovation Hub Athens team, you will be working on agile innovation projects, creating extraordinary customer experiences, including voice assistants, hyper-personalization, and the connection of home services. Last but not least, you will be working with modern technology and micro-service architecture with an API-first approach.

Your Profile
Requirements
- 6+ years’ experience in professional Big Data & Data related technology
- Expert understanding of distributed computing principles
- Very good knowledge of Python and SQL (Java and Scala are a plus)
- Good Experience with Apache Beam pipelines
- Hands-on GCP Data Flow is required
- Hands-on streaming experience (Kafka, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Flink, etc.)
- Experience with Cloud-native data services
- Strong understanding of SQL queries, joins, and relational schemas
- Experience with NoSQL databases, such as HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB
- Experience with Data Modelling
- Knowledge of ETL techniques and frameworks
- Performance tuning of Spark or other distributed system jobs
- Experience with designing and implementing Big data / distributed solutions
- Experience with Docker (Kubernetes is a plus)
- Knowledge and experience with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, Cloud Composer, etc.
Any Experience In The Following Will Be Highly Desirable
- Telco Network exposure is preferred
- Practitioner of AGILE methodology e.g JIRA
- Familiarity and experience with version control, preferably GIT
- Good understanding of CI/CD
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
