  • Support design projects of connectivity-related consumer electronics, including accessories and packaging, from initial concepts to final roll-out 
  • Transform ideas and design concepts into initial 3D models, mock-ups, and prototypes 
  • Assist in identifying customer insights and translating customers’ perspectives into tangible products and product experiences 
  • Help validate ideas and assumptions through user testing with customers 
  • Apply design thinking and tailored user-centric methods in interdisciplinary project teams, working alongside top experts from multiple domains 
  • Collaborate to provide customer-centric storytelling and solutions for business decisions 
  • Share knowledge and skills with colleagues and team members to foster collective growth 

Your Profile

You are studying product design, industrial design or a comparable degree program or are in your gap year. In addition you have the following knowledge and skills:

  • Demonstrable academic experience in relevant design projects, with practical examples (graphic design experience is a plus) 
  • Outstanding skills in designing industrial products, using crafts like sketching, physical mock-up building and creating refined 3D geometry data 
  • Great visual presentation and 3D rendering skills 
  • Good knowledge of Interaction design and human interface principles related to hardware devices 
  • Knowledge and understanding of CMF (colors, materials & finishes) with an eye for details combined with a sense for contemporary aesthetics, as shown in your portfolio 
  • Familiarity with design thinking formats, customer-centric workshops, or design sprints (experience from coursework or projects) 
  • Awareness of user-centric design activities within the innovation development process, aiming to validate or eliminate design concepts 
  • Solid written and spoken communication skills in English are a must 
  • Proficiency in software tools such as Rhino 3D, SolidWorks or Alias Surface, including the ability to create complex 3D models and refine their structural integrity. 
  • Expertise in render engines like Keyshot or similar tools, enabling the creation of realistic textures and high-quality visual presentations. 
  • Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools to design infographics, 2D, and 3D graphics, enhancing visual storytelling and communication of ideas. 
  • Experience in model-making and rapid prototype techniques
