Driving digitization forward - fostering qualification

Under the motto “Let’s power higher performance,” T-Systems’ strategic objective is to be Europe’s leading integrated IT service provider. Driving forward digitalization is therefore on the agenda. This will work only with innovative products and solutions and extremely well qualified employees. With this in mind, we are investing not just in continuously developing our workforce, but also in hiring new IT and tech talents. That is why T-Systems is partnering with the programming school 42 in Berlin, which is due to open its doors in late 2022.

Room full of young people learning in a relaxed atmosphere.

The programming school 42 is characterized by innovative learning concepts.

The learning concept

42 is a software engineering school with an innovative learning concept – no professors, no lectures, no exams. Instead, the students hone their software development skills on their own through projects and peer learning.

Age, origin, and educational background are irrelevant, with everyone given the opportunity to gain a foothold in this promising professional field.

T-Systems’ commitment gives many people equal opportunities and the chance to participate in a digital future.

The T-Systems team (from left to right: Andreas Eisenreich, Lenny Kallok, Laura Pallasch, Teo Körner) brought along attractive entry-level opportunities for IT and tech talent.

Is IT what drives you? Join us to build your career.

On the 42 campus in Wolfsburg we recently had the opportunity to exchange ideas with many IT and tech talents from the software engineering school and talk to them about job opportunities at T-Systems. In 2022 alone, we plan to add over 1,000 new posts in Germany. The job portfolio ranges from software developers, IT architects, consultants, and sales experts, through to security specialists – just to mention a few of the profiles.

It was great to share this message with the students and to talk about career prospects.
The discussions were all the more enriching on account of the students’ diverse cultural and professional backgrounds. We also took away a great deal and are already looking forward to the next get-together.
