AR Telekom Career App: Who can crack the high score?

The AR Telekom Career app was developed by students for students, and the highlight of the new app version is the gamification feature. Users can now collect virtual coins and win attractive prizes. The AR Telekom Career app creates augmented reality objects and the aim is to beat the high score in the hunt for the coins.

In a office, the T logo floats between furniture as an AR object with a balloon effect in the middle of the room

The Telekom Career app projects AR objects into the room.

Even the app's navigation menu has a new design: the menu items float in space as augmented reality objects and provide information for pupils and students. Specifically, apprenticeships, internships and opportunities for direct entry are offered. Graduates have the opportunity to apply for the coveted Start up! trainee program. If you would like to join the Telekom Talent Club, you can access it via a link, leave your contact details, upload your CV and will be contacted with a suitable job advertisement when a match is made.

The app can also be used to take creative photos with the AR objects. The art installation was the original idea of two students from the CODE University of Applied Sciences, who developed the AR app together with the Magenta Campus team.

The app is also used internationally at Deutsche Telekom and is continuously being developed to meet the needs of the target group. Ideas from working students and interns are constantly taken into consideration – e.g. at a workshop on Girls' Day for schoolgirls aged 14 and over!

Are you still undecided and don't know where you want to go? Then use the career matcher. It will help you find the right job for your interests.

You can download the AR app for your Android or iPhone here.
