The shareholders’ meeting of Deutsche Telekom AG is scheduled for Thursday, May 15, 2008, at 10:00 a.m., in Cologne, Germany.
Doors open at 8:00 a.m.
Each shareholder is responsible for organizing his or her own trip to and from the shareholders’ meeting. Shareholders who are entered in the shareholders’ register will receive the invitation to the shareholders’ meeting in mid-April. The complete invitation together with this year’s agenda will be published in the electronic Federal Gazette and will then also be available on the Deutsche Telekom AG homepage at www.telekom.com/agm.
The documents received relating to the shareholders’ meeting do not entitle you to participate in the shareholders’ meeting or to exercise the right to vote at the shareholders’ meeting.
We ask that you fill in the documentation in accordance with your requirements and return it to the address indicated. To obtain the fastest possible response to your requirements, please also see the Internet dialog at www.agm-telekom.com.
Internet service for the shareholders’ meeting
The entire shareholders’ meeting service will once again be available for the 2008 shareholders’ meeting via the Internet Dialog for ordering admission tickets or giving proxy authorizations and voting instructions. In addition, you can also enter your own profile. Here you can change your shareholder’s data for the shareholders' register or register to receive your shareholders’ meeting documents by e-mail. To do this you will need the access data that you received together with the invitation to the shareholders’ meeting.
Shareholders' meeting live on the Internet
In order to allow as many of our shareholders as possible to follow the events at the shareholders’ meeting, Deutsche Telekom AG will broadcast the entire shareholders’ meeting live from about 10:00 a.m. on the Internet at www.telekom.com/agm-live. The voting results will be made available in the Internet after the outcome has been determined.
Owners of American Depositary Shares (ADS) who intend to take part in the shareholders’ meeting can register via: Deutsche Bank Trust Company Americas, USA. Shareholders who hold their shares in Japan through Japan Securities Clearing Corporation and who wish to exercise their right to vote should contact The Sumitomo Trust & Banking Co. Ltd., Tokyo, Japan.
